Robert Stanley Price of Cicero, passed away October 14, 2009 at 70 years of age. He was born February 3, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Stanley and Hazel Price. Robert was the loving husband for 45 years of Mary (nee Mitchell) Price. Devoted father of Elizabeth Fiedler, Timothy (Beverly) Price and Laura (Joseph) Peil. Beloved grandfather of Eric, Patrick, Jimmy, Jackie, Mary, Alex and Peyton. He is also survived by sisters Phyllis Kearns and Myrna (Bill) Studden. Family will receive friends on Monday October 19, 2009 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Harry W Moore Funeral Home, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral and burial services will begin at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the funeral home and proceed to Oaklawn Cemetery 9700 Allisonville Road with Father Tom Metzger officiating at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in the Cemetery.

He became part of my extended family several years ago, he was a warm, caring and basically a quiet man. A great husband, father and wonderful grandfather. Bob, you were the one who mentored and guided me personally and professionally. Bob, you gave me the start to a very satisfying career in the automobile industry, of which I am every grateful. As time passed and our families grew we spent many good times together boating,fishing, cookouts and playing games. Those family memories are priceless as there was never a lack of laughter, fun and games. We have great memories as our families grew up together that will be never fogotten. I was fortunate to have known Bob for over 40 years. Brother-in-law,friend,neighbor and best of all fishing companion. Other than time with children and grandchildren I believe Bob was happiest when he was on the water. Sharing time in boats from Manistee Michigan to the Florida Keys will never be forgotten.
